The Prix Goes to Dresden

Jason Beechey, member of the Prix’s Artistic Committee, gave us a few insights on the Dresden Preselections taking place this year at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden from October 25th to 27th:

“I know that the Preselection in Argentina brings opportunities to students who otherwise would not be able to come to the Prix. I also know that for students in many countries, the expenses of making a DVD, let alone travel and accommodation to Lausanne are quite a burden.

The Dresden preselections are open to anyone in the right age range. Just like in South America, the top 2 will be automatically admitted to the Prix de Lausanne with all expenses paid. Everyone in the top 10 will receive a professional DVD of themselves, made during the Pre-Selection.”
