Eric Snyder

Eric Snyder is an Artist with the English National Ballet (ENB) compagny. He began his dance training at the age of nine with the Yuma Ballet Academy in Yuma, Arizona. In 2018, Eric competed as a finalist in the Prix de Lausanne, through which he was offered a scholarship to join the English National Ballet School (ENBS). After competing again in the 2020 Prix de Lausanne and upon his graduation from the ENBS, he was the only student of his class to have been offered a contract with the English National Ballet.

Eric’s repertoire with ENB thus far includes Akram Khan’s Giselle, William Forsythe’s Playlist (EP), Tamara Rojo’s Raymonda, and Mats Ek’s The Rite of Spring, as well as featured roles in Stina Quagebeur’s Take Five Blues and William Forsythe’s Blake Works I. In his second season with the company, Eric competed in ENB’s annual Emerging Dancer competition dancing the Act III Grand Pas de Deux from The Sleeping Beauty and Rentaro Nakaaki’s Cha Cha and Tiara, and was awarded the title of Emerging Dancer 2022.
