Finalists 2022

The 70 candidates from all around the world have performed on the stage of the Auditorium Stravinski in Montreux during today’s Selections of the 2022 Prix de Lausanne. The jury members observed the candidates many times before revealing their final choices at the end of the Selections, during which the young talents performed one classical variation and one contemporary variation in front of a large audience.

The jury, made of 9 of the most prominent dance professionals of our times and presided this year by Margaret Tracey, International Dance Educator & Former Principal dancer New York City Ballet, have selected the 20 Finalists of the 2022 Prix de Lausanne:

The 20 selected candidates are from 8 different nationalities. The most represented ones are South Korea (6 candidates), the United States (4 candidates) and Australia (3 candidates).

The Finals will take place on Saturday, February 5^th at 2pm (Swiss time). It will be livestreamed on ARTE Concert, our Facebook page and our website. The Prize Winners will be announced around 6pm.

7 Finalists will receive a scholarship and have the unique opportunity to choose among the most prominent schools and companies of ballet in the world.
