Congratulations to Armande Meier – Recipient of the Bourse Vaudoise de danse 2026!

Armande Meier won the 7th Bourse Vaudoise de danse, one of our local initiatives, supported by the Retraites Populaires. Armande is currently studying at the Danse Académie Vevey, and is only 15 years old. The scholarship was awarded by a jury following an audition held on 3 May in Lausanne, which was attended by 11 young dancers from the Canton of Vaud.

The Bourse Vaudoise de danse grant will provide Armande with concrete support to encourage her in her training and to develop her talent and potential. She will be coached by Demian Vargas for classical dance, and Etienne Frey for contemporary.

Armande has also been selected to take part in the 2026 Summer Intensive – International Preselection of the Prix de Lausanne, which will be held at the Beaulieu Theatre in Lausanne from 6 to 11 July 2026.
