Announcement of the artistic team for the 2026 Summer Intensive!

We are thrilled to announce the artistic team for the 2026 Summer Intensive!

We are incredibly fortunate to have a remarkable team of classical and contemporary dance teachers and international coaches for boys and girls! Thanks to their expertise and attention, the Summer Intensive has, for many years, been a unique learning environment and an exceptional stepping stone to the Prix de Lausanne.

The Summer Intensive – European and International Preselection 2026 will take place from 6 to 11 July 2026, this year in the Prix de Lausanne iconic location, the Beaulieu Theatre, in Lausanne.

For the second consecutive year, dancers from all over the world can participate in this workshop and preselection.

The team consists of:

• Laura Smeak, classical teacher for girls
• Nicolas Le Riche, classical teacher and coach for boys
• Clairemarie Osta, classical coach for girls
• Didy Veldman, contemporary teacher for girls and boys

They will also serve as the Jury, alongside Kathryn Bradney, Executive & Artistic Director of the Prix de Lausanne.

We are also pleased to welcome the following young choreographers as part of our Young Creation Award 2026 programme:

• Max Cowan, contemporary coach for his original variation Ritual, which he will be coaching to boys and girls in the Junior category (A).
• Kyra Wentzlaff, contemporary coach for her original variation Tidal, which she will be coaching to boys and girls in the Senior category (B).
