During the jury deliberations on the finals, the audience can watch a short performance by former prize winners or dancers from our Partner institutions. This year, the Prix de Lausanne is honoured to welcome two prize winners, Karen Azatyan, Soloist of the Hamburg Ballet-John Neumeier, and Arsen Mehrabyan, Principal of the Royal Swedish Ballet, along with Vahe Martirosyan, First Soloist of the Royal Swedish Ballet.
We also have the pleasure to present a choreography performed by six dancers from the Queensland Ballet Jette Parker Young Artist Program.
The Queensland Ballet Jette Parker Young Artist Program presents a new twenty minutes ballet choreographed especially for the 2015 Prix de Lausanne. The Jette Parker Young Artist Program is an apprenticeship program which fosters the talents of gifted young dancers at the start of their professional careers.
