Young Creation Award 2024 Finalists

On December 1st, 2023, a Jury panel gathered in Lausanne to watch and mark 55 videos submitted by the Young Creation Award 2024 participants. 5 Finalists were selected among them. These 5 promising young choreographers will have the chance to come to Lausanne together with their dancers to participate in this competition for young talent in choreography, which takes place in parallel with the Prix de Lausanne. The choreographers will present their original solos before the Prix de Lausanne’s Jury and the live-streaming audience on Wednesday, January 1st, 2024. The same evening, the two winning choreographies will be awarded and performed again during the Interlude performance on Saturday,  February 3rd, 2024, after the Finals. Their pieces will become part of the Prix de Lausanne 2025 contemporary variation repertoire for future candidates.

In total, 55 young choreographers (31 girls and 24 boys) from 23 different Partner Schools and Junior Companies have submitted a contemporary variation.
