Xander Parish OBE

Xander was born in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, and began dancing in Hull. He graduated from the Royal Ballet School in 2005 joining the Royal Ballet that same year. In 2010 Xander became the first British dancer to join The Mariinsky Theatre and was made Principal in 2017. He left Russia in March 2022 due to the invasion of Ukraine. Xander has been a Guest Artist with Stanislavsky Ballet, English National Ballet & ABT. In 2021 he created balletclass.com, a platform for online masterclasses. In August 2022 he joined the Norwegian National Ballet as a Principal.
