Born in La Rochelle, Véronique studied dance at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse.
In 1991, she was hired by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre, then Jean-Christophe Maillot.
She performs the works of the choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot and the company’s repertoire such as G. Balanchine, W. Forsythe, N. Duato, T. Tharps, T. Branson, C. Armitage, J. Neumeier, J. Kilian, S. Benathan, U. Scholz, R. Zanella, P. Lacotte, R. Petit, L. Child, V. Nijinsky, M.Fokine.
In 2000, she met Mauro Bigonzetti who invited her to join the Aterballetto. She dances the choreographer’s creations such as Cantata, Sogno di una notte di mezza estate, le nozze, Jimi Jimi and his repertoire such as Furia Corporis, Kazimir’s Colors, Comedia, Canzoni.
She graduated from the CNSMD Lyon with a certificate of aptitude as a dance teacher. She has directed her artistic career towards teaching and has been invited to teach in Europe (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium). She joined the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden (Germany) in 2005 under the direction of Jason Beechey. She teaches classical dance for the Bachelor Tanz levels, and assists choreographers and guest directors at the dance university such as Emily Molnar, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, David Dawson, Stijn Celis, Aaron Watkin. Mentor and teacher for the master pedagogy programme, she is also the coordinator of the Eleven Programm in connection with the Semperoper Dresden Balett under the direction of Aaron Watkin. In 2012, she decided to return to her home town and teach at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse, participating through her teachings in raising public awareness of dance.
Invited as a jury in conservatories in France and as mentor for the Master’s degree in pedagogy (certificat d’aptitude) at the CNSMD Lyon, she also gives master classes in Europe in public and private structures of artistic education and professional training such as the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden, the LAAC Paris, the Pôle National Supérieur Rosella Hightower Cannes, the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, the Tanz Akademie Zürich.
She has been invited to teach in companies such as Badisches Staatstheater Ballet KarlsruheBallet du Rhin, Ballet de Marseille, Ballet Preljocaj and travels internationally to share and transmit her experience as an artist and teacher such as ArchiTanz TokyoVancouver Ballet Society Canada, Junior Ballet Antwerp, Venice Biennale College under the direction of Wayne McGregor, Greater Bay Area Dance Festival Shenzhen under the direction of Xie Xin.
Since 2018, she has been invited as a coach by the Prix de Lausanne for contemporary variations by Mauro Bigonzetti. She is coach for the Young Creation Award by the Prix de Lausanne 2024.
