Classical teacher at the Conservatoire de musique et de danse de La Rochelle
Coach for the variations of Mauro Bigonzetti for the Prix de Lausanne 2019 – 2022

Born in La Rochelle, France, Véronique graduated from its Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

In 1991, she joins Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre then Jean-Christophe Maillot. She performed creations from the director Jean-Christophe Maillot and choreographers such as: G. Balanchine, W. Forsythe, N Duato, T. Tharps, T. Branson, C. Armitage, J. Neumeier, J. Kilian, S. Benathan, U. Scholz, R. Zanella, P. Lacotte, R. Petit, V. Nijinsky, M.Fokine .
In 2000, she joins Aterballetto under the direction of Mauro Bigonzetti and performed his orginal creations: Cantata, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Les Noces, Jimi Jimi and repertoire of the company such as Kazimir’s colors, Canzoni, Furia Corporis and Comoedia.

As a guest teacher, she starts touring in Europe (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium). Finding in dance pedagogy a fulfilling reward, she obtains the master’s degree in dance pedagogy from the CNSMD of Lyon.
In 2005, she is invited to join the pedagogic team of the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden led by Prof. Jason Beechey. Resident Master teacher of classical dance, she is mentor for the dance pedagogy master program of the university and assistant to guest choreographers such as Emily Molnar, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, David Dawson, Stijn Celis, Aaron Watkin.

In 2012, she decides to come back to her Conservatoire to teach and provide public sensitization on the importance of dance pedagogy in society.
Guest jury during exams throughout Conservatoires in France, she is also guest teacher in several professional dance school in Europe (Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden, le LAAC Paris, Pole National Supérieur Rosella Hightower Cannes).
Véronique is also invited to teach dance and share her knowledge in companies such as the Badisches Staatstheater Ballet Karlsruhe and professionals studios as Vancouver Ballet Society, ArchiTanz Tokyo, Junior Ballet Antwerp.
Véronique took part in the Prix de Lausanne as a coach for the variations of Mauro Bigonzetti from 2019 to 2022.
