The Summer Intensive – European and International Preselection 2025 took place in Lausanne from 7 to 12 July 2025. Designed as an educational week, the workshop aims to discover promising talents and open the doors of the Prix de Lausanne to a few of them. Participants benefit from intensive classes and coaching sessions with internationally renowned teachers, opportunities to engage with them, as well as informative and awareness-raising sessions on mental and physical health, led by our medical partner, MotionLab.

The Summer Intensive was held at the Ballet Béjart Lausanne studios and, for the first time, at the Théâtre de Beaulieu, on the iconic stage of the Prix de Lausanne. To mark the first preselection held at the Théâtre, the Prix de Lausanne organised an Open House on Saturday, 12 July, bringing together around 300 people — members of the public, as well as families, friends, and chaperones who came to support the young dancers.

We are proud to announce the names of the 4 talented dancers who have been preselected. They have been invited to register and participate in the next Prix de Lausanne, which will be held from February 1 to 8, 2026, at Beaulieu Lausanne. The jury also decided to give honorary mentions in ballet and contemporary dance to two talented dancers.

The preselected dancers are:

  • BORYCZKA Zuzanna, Poland, 18 years old, Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin (Germany)
  • GRAMADA Dragos, Romania, 17.6 years old, Tanz Akademie Zürich (Switzerland)
  • GUAJARDO LIVAS Estefania, Mexico, 17.10 years old, Tanz Akademie Zürich (Switzerland)
  • KIYAMA Lily Robertson, Japan, 15 years old, Tleubaev Ballet School (Japan)

The Honorary mention for ballet goes to:

The Honorary mention for contemporary dance goes to:

  • HEALES Ava Canada, 17.2 years old, Dance District Studio (Canada)
