Preselected candidates, Summer Intensive – European and International Preselection 2024

The Summer Intensive – European and International Preselection 2024, organised by the Prix de Lausanne, took place from 8 to 13 July 2024, this year in the beautiful setting of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Vaud Alps.

The aim of the Summer Intensive is to discover young promising talents and open the doors of the Prix de Lausanne to a few of them. The participants benefit from a whole week of intensive classes and coaching sessions with world-renowned teachers.

We are proud to announce the names of the four talented young dancers selected after this week. They have been invited to register and participate in the next Prix de Lausanne, which will be held from February 2 to 9, 2025, at Beaulieu, Lausanne. The jury also decided to give Honorary Mentions in classical and contemporary to two talented young dancers!

The selected dancers are:

• Rhyan Foerster, United States, 17.5 years old, Tanz Akademie Zürich (Switzerland)
• Charlie Keffert, France, 17.2 years old, VM Ballet School (France)
• Samuel Lance, Australia, 17.10 years old, Tanz Akademie Zürich (Switzerland)
• Anna Sparapano, Italy, 17.1 years old, Balletto di Toscana (Italie)

The Honorary mention for classical goes to:

• Marie Ribaudo, France, 15 years old, Ecole de danse Laurence Ehly & ML Danza (France)

The Honorary mention for contemporary goes to:

• Joana Gonçalves, Portugal, 17.10 years old, State Ballet School of Berlin (Germany)
