Mavis Staines awarded!

Congratulations to Mavis Staines who has received the 2019 Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award (Dance) from the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (Canada) on April 28th, 2019.

Mavis Staines has a long history with the Prix de Lausanne!

She has been Jury member and/or Jury President from 1993 to 1999, Artistic President from 2002 to 2008 and she is currently a Board Member of the “Fondation en faveur de l’Art Chorégraphique”, and a Member of the Artistic Advisory Committee.

Mavis Staines is the Artistic Director of the Canada’s National Ballet School, partner of the Prix de Lausanne.
