Recipient of the Bourse Vaudoise de danse 2025

Congratulations to Matheo Accetta – First boy to ever win the Bourse vaudoise de danse!

Matheo won the sixth Bourse vaudoise de danse organised by the Prix de Lausanne thanks to the support of Retraites Populaires. Matheo is the first boy to ever win the Bourse vaudoise de danse, and is 14 years old. He is currently studying at the AFJD – Association pour la Formation de Jeunes Danseurs, in Lausanne. The scholarship was awarded by a jury following an audition held on 4 May in Lausanne, which was attended by 6 young dancers from the Canton of Vaud.

The Bourse vaudoise de danse grant will provide Matheo with concrete support to encourage him in his training and to develop his talent and potential. He will be coached by Demian Vargas and Etienne Frey.

Matheo has also been selected to take part in the 2025 Summer Intensive – European and International Preselection for the Prix de Lausanne, which will be held at the Beaulieu Theatre in Lausanne from 7 to 12 July 2025.
