Educated at the Royal Danish Ballet School in Copenhagen 2008.
Principal Dancer with the Royal Danish Ballet 2011-2019.
Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre 2015-2019.

Alban Lendorf has performed the leading role in Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, Manon, Lady of the Camelias, Apollo, La Bayadère, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, Coppelia, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Le Jeune Homme et La Mort, Napoli, Études and many more.

Has performed as a Guest Artist on some of the biggest stages around the world.

Awards and prizes include:
‘Best Male Dancer’ Primio Positano, Italy 2011.
‘Best Male Dancer’ Prix Benois de la Danse, Moscow 2013.
‘Best Male Dancer’ European Ballet Awards in Berlin 2014.

Appointed to Knight in 2014 and to Knight of First Class in 2021 by HM the Queen of Denmark.
