The Prix de Lausanne 2026 will take place from 1 to 8 February 2026, at the Beaulieu Theatre, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

On Sunday, 8 February 2026, the Rising Stars performance will take place at the Théâtre de Beaulieu in the afternoon.

Selected candidates must submit a new headshot via the 2nd registration form. Please see below examples of headshots that meet our requirements for all the printed material of the upcoming Prix de Lausanne 2026. Please send a file with minimum size of 500 ko.

HEADSHOT EXAMPLES

The second registration for the Prix de Lausanne 2026 is now open until 15 November 2025. Selected candidates need to complete the 3 following steps:

• Fill out our commitment form which you can find here. You will need this form completed and signed to upload in your registration form.
• Fill out our registration form here.
• Pay the second registration fee here.

Thanks to generous sponsors, the Prix de Lausanne can offer financial support to candidates who may be in need. Applicants must contact the Prix de Lausanne to communicate their intention to apply for financial support before their registration for the video selection, on 30 September 2025, at the latest. If the candidate is selected, they will then have to send the formal application before 3 November 2025. More information can be found in our Rules and Regulations.

Can I edit the audio file of my variation? 

You are required to dance on the official music available on our website. Editing of any sort is not possible. Please choose carefully your variation knowing that you will have to dance on the official music’s tempo.

What are the clothing requirements?

Please carefully read the Rules & Regulations as well as the Competition Procedure where you will find all practical information.

What is the Networking Forum?

The Networking Forum gives the candidates who are not selected for the Finals an opportunity to be seen by schools and companies Directors from all around the world. Selected candidates will receive more practical information during the month of January.

I can no longer participate in the competition, am I eligible for a refund?

If you can no longer participate in the competition, please inform us as soon as possible by writing an email to registration@prixdelausanne.org. As mentioned in the Rules & Regulations, registration fees are non-refundable no matter the reason of cancelation.
