All news

02 Oct 2025

We are delighted to share that Le Prix, the documentary directed by Alain Wirth and Nuria Manzur, will be screened at the New York Public Library, followed by a panel discussion with former Prix de Lausanne dancers and our Artistic and Executive Director, Kathryn Bradney.

Le Prix follows the inspiring journeys of Romina, Julien, Lucía Abril, and Darrion—four young talents from around the world selected to participate in the Prix de Lausanne 2022. The film highlights not only their dedication and sacrifices but also the transformative impact the competition has had on their lives and careers.

In addition to the dancers’ personal stories, the documentary features insights from leading figures in the dance world, including Kathryn Bradney, Armando Braswell, Viviana Durante, Luca Masala, and Friedemann Vogel.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with:

  • Stella Abrera – Former ABT Principal Dancer and Artistic Director of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School.
  • Chun Wai Chan – 2010 Prix de Lausanne scholarship recipient, Principal Dancer with New York City Ballet.
  • Paloma Livellara Vidart – 2024 Prix de Lausanne Prize Winner, now with ABT Studio Company and soon to become an apprentice with American Ballet Theatre.
  • Younjae Park – 2025 Prix de Lausanne First Prize and Best Young Talent Award Winner, currently with ABT Studio Company.
  • Natalie Steele – 2024 Prix de Lausanne Prize Winner and member of ABT Studio Company.

This special evening is a wonderful opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes reality of the Prix de Lausanne and to hear directly from dancers who embody its legacy, past and present.
