Previous companies/positions: Guest with Royal Danish Ballet, Jeune Ballet de France, Birmingham Royal Ballet, World Ballet Festival, and Tokyo.
Current company/position: Principal Artist, The Australian Ballet.
Favorite roles/choreographies: I have so many special memories and performances, but for me it is also about the partnership and time in the studio. So many hours are spent rehearsing and perfecting that it has to be productive and enjoyable too.
Career highlights: Premiering a new Sleeping Beauty in 2005, and returning to the stage after the birth of my baby girl, 2008.
Message to the Prix de Lausanne candidates: Enjoy the competition and make the most of this wonderful experience. Learn all you can from your coaches and fellow candidates. It will be nerve wracking but this is all part of the process to becoming a professional dancer and all this is strengthening, both body and mind! Good Luck.
Message to the Prix de Lausanne organisation: Such a wonderful organization and support for these young and talented students. Although it was 20 years ago that I entered the competition I have fond memories, and it obviously gave me the opportunity I would otherwise have never dreamed of realising, a scholarship to The Royal Ballet School. Thank you and long may this event continue.
