Foundation Heinz Spoerli awards Prize to Amanda Bennett

For her outstanding achievement as Director of the Ballettschule Theater Basel, Amanda Bennett received the Foundation Heinz Spoerli Prize. The Foundation Heinz Spoerli was founded 14 years ago and the Prize is being awarded for the fifth time. With this Prize the Foundation wishes to make a contribution to the preservation of the art form of dance as well as the promotion of the public interest in dance.

Since Miguel Duarte Pinheiro was hired at NDT2 and couldn't use his prize, we are pleased to announce that Austen Acevedo will benefit from the Oak Foundation scholarship at Vaganova Ballet Academy.
