For ballet fans residing in or near Lausanne, or for visitors arriving from abroad, there is nothing more exciting than seeing firsthand the 42nd annual Prix de Lausanne competition. Here is a glimpse of what\u2019s in store for you!<\/p>\n

Daily Dance Dialogues<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrities Julio Bocca<\/strong> and Alessandra Ferri<\/strong>, as well as dance experts will discuss a variety of subjects and take questions from the public in an intimate and informal setting. Every afternoon in the Foyer of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Beauieu. Free of charge and open to the public. <\/em><\/p>\n

Classes and Coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feel all the exuberance and heartache of the 2014 candidates as they are put through their paces by world-renowned teachers and coaches (classical and contemporaray dance). Open to the public. Tickets available on the day of the event at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Beaulieu. <\/em><\/p>\n

Selections<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exciting semi-finals of the competition, featuring classical and contemporary variations performed by all 2014 candidates before the jury. Friday, January 31st, 2014. Tickets now available in person only at the Op\u00e9ra de Lausanne\u2019s box office<\/a> . From January 27th to 31st, tickets available in person only at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Beaulieu.<\/em><\/p>\n

The 20 finalists chosen during the selections are in the spotlight as they perform before a filled-to-the rafters crowd. While the jury members deliberate, enjoy the Interlude performance given by guest artists.
