The Prix de Lausanne is glad to count among its precious collaborations the following Swiss and international institutions:
VAUD+, the brand for the people of Vaud, builds bridges between industries, consumers, tourists, investors and partners from all walks of life by bringing collective intelligence into play in order to sublimate its players while keeping the values of ethics, innovation and sustainability at the core.
This multi-sectoral transversality is our raison d’être. We pool resources to increase the canton’s attractiveness, we promote and federate the most passionate, inspiring and innovative personalities from different sectors, such as the economy, tourism, culture, sport, education and agriculture and, like a label guaranteeing their know-how, we certify their excellence through the VAUD+ brand.
Festival de la Cité Lausanne showcases a unique and diverse range of artistic projects at no cost to the spectator. These include theatre, dance and performance art, classical music, jazz and contemporary music, shows for young audiences, circus, literature, visual arts, architecture… The Festival de la Cité is a contemporary, urban event that openly communicates with the city, its residents and its visitors. The Festival de la Cité promotes art in the city and artistic endeavours in situ. On a broader scale, it aims to create an interaction with art, the public realm and society at large. The Festival also wishes to instill the vibrant nature of contemporary performing arts at the core of the city’s cultural and natural heritage. Since it is free from the social, spatial and aesthetic limits imposed by venue and cost requirements, the Festival fosters accessibility of art and culture to the greatest number of people. What sets the Festival apart from the rest is its ambitious programming and convivial, offbeat spirit!
Each Summer, for more than a quarter century, music lovers from around the world have come together in the majestic Swiss Alps to take part in a community of exchange between great masters of classical music and the most promising musicians of the new generation.

Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne is open to all and dedicated to contemporary creation, defining itself as a site of encounters between today’s art and the widest possible audience. Installed within a building built by the Zurich artist and architect Max Bill for the Swiss national exposition of 1964 (Expo64), it now contains four auditoriums and a vast foyer-bar opening onto the beach of Vidy, with a view over Lake Geneva and the Alps. For artists, it provides an exceptional workspace coupled with a solid production facility and a technical team with a broad range of expertise. For audiences, it provides the opportunity to share powerful artistic experiences, along with numerous events relating the works to major issues our society is currently undergoing.
