I live in Europe. How can I get a COVID certificate for Switzerland?
You might already have an EU Digital COVID Certificate or a certificate that is compatible with the EU Digital COVID Certificate. If so, you do not need to apply for a Swiss COVID certificate as these are also recognised in Switzerland. More info
If you don’t have an EU Digital COVID certificate but received one of the vaccines that are approved by the European Medicines Agency (Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson&Johnson), you can easily apply for a Swiss COVID certificate HERE.
I live outside of Europe. How can I get a COVID certificate for Switzerland?
If you received your last dose of vaccine abroad or a have had a positive PCR test abroad proving a SARS-CoV-2 infection in the last 12 months, you can apply for your COVID-19 certificate HERE Note that travelling measures might request other documents.
I am not vaccinated but am willing to do a test. How should I proceed?
You can get tested (withoug appointment) in testing centres, hospitals, pharmacies or doctors in Switzerland. The Prix de Lausanne will not provide a testing centre so you will have to organise it by yourself. Also, note that:
You must ask for the COVID certificate at the moment of the test, before the sample is taken.
COVID certificates are not issued for self-tests or antibody tests.
COVID certificate will not be issued if the test was performed abroad.
Note that if you would like a COVID certificate as evidence of a negative test, you will generally have to pay for the test yourself.
