The next Prix de Lausanne will take place from January 26th to January 31st, 2010

Events open to the public:

•    Selections: Wednesday January 27th, from 9.00 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. and from 12.00 a.m. to 4.15 p.m., contemporary classes
•    Selections: Thursday, January 28th, from 8.45 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., from 12.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m, from 2 p.m. to 3.15 p.m., from 4.30p.m. to 5.30 p.m., classical classes
•    Selections: Friday, January 29th, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.45 a.m., from 1.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m., coaching of classical variations
•    Selections: Saturday, January 30th, classical and contemporary variations with jury (15-16-year-olds , 9.45 a.m. to 12.45 p.m., 17-18-year-olds, 13.45 p.m. to 6.30 p.m)
•    Finals: Sunday, January 31st, 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (20 finalists: classical and contemporary variations with jury), Interlude Performance with a creation by the Shanghai Dance School and a pas de deux from "Manon" with Leanne Benjamin and Edward Watson, Principals with the Royal Ballet, London.

Ticket Prices:

•    January 27th to 29th: 10 Swiss francs per day, children 7-15 years free, tickets on sale on the spot only
•    Saturday January 30th: 20 Swiss francs, morning and 20 Swiss francs, afternoon, tickets on sale on the spot only
•    For the Finals Sunday January 31st: 20 to 80 Swiss francs, tickets available on www.prixdelausanne.org or by phone : +41(0)21 643 22 11

The objective of the Prix de Lausanne is to help young talented dancers start in their professional careers. The winners of the contest receive scholarships that allow them to complete their training for one year in one of the schools or professional dance companies, partners of the Prix de Lausanne.
