Dear Friends of the Prix de Lausanne,

It is with deep regret that we must inform you of the sad passing away of Philippe Braunschweig, who founded, with his wife Elvire Kremis Braunschweig, the Prix de Lausanne in 1973.

We hereby express our sadness as well as our respect and admiration for all his work. Philippe Braunschweig dedicated his life to supporting ballet and the dancers.

We present our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
