A Gala evening will be organized at the Palais de Beaulieu and will bring together principal dancers of the best ballet companies, all prize winners of the Prix de Lausanne. A dinner dance will be held after the performance, [...]]]> The Prix de Lausanne will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at 5pm. A Gala evening will be organized at the Palais de Beaulieu and will bring together principal dancers of the best ballet companies, all prize winners of the Prix de Lausanne. A dinner dance will be held after the performance, around 7.30pm.

During the week of the competition, Lausanne is THE Capital of the young dance world :

  • the candidates come to learn, to be seen and to start their professional network,
  • the partner schools and companies meet in Lausanne to discover the stars of tomorrow
  • the former prize winners show their attachment to the Prix by participating on the jury or as teachers
  • the volunteers help the Prix to launch these young talents into the professional world.
