Each year, students from local dance schools have the chance to participate in free classical and contemporary classes at the Beaulieu Theater, during the week of the competition.
During this 45th edition of the Prix de Lausanne, they are invited at the following times:
Contemporary class taught by Yohan Stegli, prize winner of the Prix de Lausanne in 1998, laureate of the Eurovision competition for young dancers in 1999 and soloist at the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier. Yohan Stegli is currently Deputy of the Artistic Director of the National Youth Ballet of Germany.
This class is intended for students aged 15 to 18 years old who studied contemporary dance for at least 3 years.
Classical class taught by Nicola Biasutti, former soloist with the Dresden Semperoper, currently teaching at the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, Germany.
This class is intended for students aged 15 to 18 years old who studied classical dance for at least 5 years.
